Where is the fuse located for the cigarette lighter on a 2003 Mercedes C Class and does this power the stereo?

It's NOT inside the car interior. It's under the hood. Pop the hood and look on the driver's side up near the firewall for a black plastic

cover that goes over the fusebox and the brake master cylinder. It's attached at the rear with two small black plastic knobs you turn

a half turn to release and then slide the thing out of the little tab on the side of it and remove it. There you will see the fuse box with

two shiny metal clips that just pop up to open the fuse box. Now, look in there towards the FRONT of the car and you will see ten fuses

in a row. The cigarette lighter fuse is the FIFTH ONE GOING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE (right side) of the car. The official number of

that fuse is 47, but it won't say that on top of the fuse. It will probably be blue and have a white 15 on top of it for 15 amps. That's it.
