How do you tell the year of a Harley Davidson Engine?

Year of Manufacture is recorded within the Vehicle's Identification Number (VIN) typically located on the right side forward down tube. Within the VIN is the letter "Y". The two numbers preceding the "Y" indicates the year of manufacture.
