Does the dog bather get a percentage of the groomers tip?

I would ask your groomer when you tip him/her because each salon opperates differently. In the salon where I work, a bather has her own dogs just like a groomer. Therefore, the groomers both cut and bathe their own dogs. We both work on commission and tips. Because groomers cut hair and we (bathers) do not, their commission is higher (50%) in comparison to the 40% we earn. I hope this helps.
