What country does the name Hatfield come from?

Everyone thinks it comes from the U.S. but not to be right.... I know there was a fight over the Hatfields' and McCoys' that took place in southern U.S. including Kansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. (I think this is right this is from my knowledge.)
