How should i leave food for a feral cat while away?

If you can.. you can either ask someone to keep an eye on your cat, or you can buy this decent sized jug that holds the cat food that lasts about 1-2 or more weeks depending on the cats diet. You can buy these anywhere really. It works for me great when i go traveling. you can use this with water also
