What is the difference between spermatogensis and oogensis?

Spermatogenesis is the process by which sperm cells are produced in the testes of males, while oogenesis is the process by which egg cells are produced in the ovaries of females. Spermatogenesis results in the production of four haploid sperm cells, while oogenesis produces one haploid egg cell and polar bodies.
