Do mammals and monkeys fly in the air?

The only flying monkeys on record are the ones in the Wizard of Oz who were minions of the Wicked Witch. These were entirely fictional creatures.

However, monkeys appear to fly because they can leap from tree to tree. While it appears they are flying, they aren't, they are simply using momentum to push themselves from one tree branch to another.
