What are neo-systematics?

Neo-systematics is a modern approach to taxonomy and systematics that incorporates both traditional morphological characters as well as molecular data to classify and understand the relationships among organisms. It aims to create more accurate and robust phylogenetic trees by combining multiple types of data and methods.
