How is the conflict solved in bystander?

In "Bystander" by James Preller, the conflict is resolved when the protagonist, Eric, confronts the bully, Griffin, and exposes his true nature to others. Through this act, Eric brings about a change in the dynamics of the school and ultimately finds a way to stand up against bullying.
