Will butterflies lay eggs on clothing that is hung outside?

Not intentionally... Butterflies normally lay eggs on or around their host plants, and no butterfly larve feeds on clothing. I'm sure it would be possible for a butterfly to drop an egg or two on clothing, but that would not be a normal occurrence.
