What controls the ribosomes?

Ribosomes are primarily controlled by messenger RNA (mRNA), which provides the template for protein synthesis. The ribosomal RNA (rRNA) within the ribosomes facilitates the assembly of amino acids into polypeptides based on the sequence encoded in the mRNA. Additionally, various proteins, known as ribosomal proteins, help stabilize the ribosomal structure and assist in its function. Regulatory factors, such as translation initiation factors and elongation factors, also play crucial roles in controlling the activity of ribosomes during protein synthesis.
