What current problem in Alabama is going on right now?

A man named Michael McLendon went on a shooting spree in Coffee and Geneva counties, Alabama, killing atleast 11 people including himself recently. He killed a few people at a gas station, then he drove to a trailer park and killed some people there. After that he died during a shoot-out. I am not compeltly sure whether he killed himself or if he was killed by police.
