What is hyerkinesis?

Hyperkinesis refers to a condition characterized by excessive movement or hyperactivity, often seen in children and linked to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It can manifest as fidgeting, restlessness, or an inability to remain still. The term is sometimes used interchangeably with hyperactivity, though it may also encompass a broader range of impulsive and energetic behaviors.
