Why do you dream about my girlfriend every night?

My girlfriend and I have been together for 7 months now, but I had to move away on our 5th month. Ever since my move, I would always have dreams about her, 2 to 4 times a week since I left. The dreams were positive, but is there a meaning to my dream? Am I obsessed? Why do I keep dreaming of her and us together?

The dreams do not necessarily mean that you are obsessed. If you are unable to function normally - unable to study or unable to do your job effectively - then you might be obsessed. Dreams come from your subconscious mind and reflect your thoughts, hopes and desires. They are also effected by physical conditions, including your hormones. The dreams themselves do not mean anything in terms of your level of love or affection or commitment. That is not the function of dreams. Your love and commitment are determined by your conscious, waking mind.
