Foods to avoid when your first starting your period, are Chocolate, Fizzy drinks, Spicy foods and large salty snacks.
As you ease more into your period, you can then start eating those foods, but not very often.
If you want to help your period run smoothly, eat lots of vegtables and fruits, drink lots of water and a few hot drinks a day. Start your d ay with a cup of tea, that will help stop cramps.
