Did Samuel De Champlain get divorced with his wife?

Samuel de Champlain was married to Hélène Boullé, but there is no historical record of a divorce between them. They married in 1610, and their relationship appears to have remained intact until her death in 1655. Champlain spent much of his life in Canada, while Hélène stayed in France, which may have contributed to some distance in their relationship, but they did not officially separate or divorce.
