For a 16 yo boy who loves manga can you suggest a more traditional genre he is likely to enjoy?

well, for a genre you might like shonen. its usually action adventure, sometime sci-fi fantasy, theres a big range. i recommend tsubasa resrvoir chronicle. it gets way better as it goes on.
