Where was king Henry the 8 born?

King Henry VIII of England was born on 28th June 1491 at the Palace of Placentia in Greenwich, London. He was the second son of his father King Henry VII and became heir to the throne when his older brother, Arthur died on 2nd April 1502. He became king when his father died on 21st April 1509 and reigned until his own death on 28th January 1547.
