How do you convince a girl who is 23 that you being 34 is not that much of an age difference especially if you are an awesome guy I know that she sort of likes me but is also scared off by my age gap?

It really Isn't! You are right! Age is just a number, and what really counts is that you have alot of the same common interests, can relate to each other, have a good time together, and so forth! Tell her not to let age get in the way! People are way too focused on age these days. I say if you are compatible well then by golly go for it!
