What is CONS1 14.0 MPG mean on X5?

The BMW X5 has a trip computer that has two Miles Per Gallon calculators, identified by Cons1 and Cons2. These computers are always monitoring the fuel consumption. So if what you see there 14.0 is the overall average fuel consumption since the last time the counters were reset. Probably the best thing to do is reset one right after every refueling, and keep the No.2 as the overall average indication. You can switch between the trip computer displays with the BC button on the left stalk on the steering column. Hope this helps.
