Is urine bad for the skin?

It is neither good nor bad. Your urine is sterile when it is voided from your bladder (provided you are not suffering from an infection). The saline nature of urine can be an irritant to skin if left in contact for an extended period of time. And, as I understand it, there are some people who believe urine applied to the skin has some sort of benefit.

Male 60, Canada...I have a friend who swears that urine is as effective as many other things he has tried, to suppress slight redness and excess skin cell growth in the crease of his nose.
there are diffrent views on this, personally i think it's gross , why would you even want to do that when the kitchen and the market is fulll of products for Skin Care, i suggest not!
