Who is Aaron in the Emily windsnap series?

Aaron is the boy Emily found in book three at a castle in the middle of the ocean. His family got a curse from Neptune as Emily. With that curse people in his family dies young at the age of Neptune's human wife. Emily and Aaron found Neptune and his wife's rings and at last they got out of that curse. In book 4 Emily starts thinking why she feels strange being with Aaron. Also when she and Aaron hold hands they have the power to repealed Neptune's power. In the end Aaron realised his true feelings about Emily and kissed her
