Get an Externship

To prepare for a nursing degree, a student should try to get an externship at a hospital as early as possible. A student should be sure to get this experience and put it on his or her resume. Nursing schools will look favorably upon this type of experience. A student may be more readily admitted to nursing school with this experience.
