Bypass the pass-lock with a remote start on a 2000 implala?

There should be a yellow and a black wire comming from the ignition colomn. Put the key in the ignition and start the vehicle and let it run. Then cut the yellow wire. At this point the security light should come on. If it doesn't then you cut the wrong yellow wire. If it does then test the key side of that yellow wire to the black wire. You will need to strip back that black wire. What you're testing for is resistance in ohms. Whatever reading you get is what you have to put in the car. Once you have found a resistor for this, tie those resistances into the car side of that yellow wire and tap the other side in the black wire. you have no successfully by-passed the Pass Lock system
