How do you change the speed sensor on a 2002 vw jetta?

For automatic transmission 2002 Jetta TDI, the speed sensor is easy to replace. The symptom of bad speed sensor is the speedo stops working (so you want know the speed of the car while driving). The sensor is located on the transmission, near drive flanges/firewall. Disconnect electrical connector. With hand try to rotate (anticlockwise) the speed to remove it.
