What are some prayers to god?

Philippians 4:6 "...in every thing by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

Many prayers to God are requests in harmony with His will.

I John 5:14 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:"

Prayers of worship strengthen our relationship with God and our devotion to Him. We build the mindset that we can go to Him for anything and everything.

Romans 8:14-16 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have... received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, ABBA, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:"

Intercessions are prayers with care and concern for the needs of others.

I Timothy 2:1 "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men."

Romans 8:27 "And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

Prayers of praise and thankfulness to God help us build an attitude of gratitude. We more fully recognize that God's promises to us have been fulfilled.

Ephesians 5:20 "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Colossians 3:17 "And whatsoever ye do in Word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
