Great question!!! It's easier to lose water weight than fat because when you drink water your body absorbs the nutrients and minerals needed. The water it's self will make you weigh a few more pounds (depending on the amount consumed). Later on the water will become waste and you will have to urine. As you urine all of the water that was consumed will leae your body and you will become less heavy. Fat on the other hand, isn't something you can just urine or poop out, it will take a very healthy diet, excercise, and weight lifting (optional). If you choose to lift weights make sure that you lift every other day because you will need to rest your muscles that way you don't cause one to pull or tear. ~OUCH~.
