It is worth noting that Obama is correct. Earning 45,000 means no federal INCOME taxes. However there is still like 900 in medicare and 2000 in social security and 1500 and 3000 in state taxes.

(Romney meant income tax when he said 47%. The actual number is 46.4 %, but he can't round. If we include social security tax, et cetera, the number who pay no tax is much lower.)
