Why did Jesus come to the world and what was his purpose in doing so?

Jesus came to the world to bring salvation and redemption to humanity. His purpose was to teach about God's love, to offer forgiveness for sins, and to ultimately sacrifice himself on the cross to atone for the sins of all people. Through his life, death, and resurrection, Jesus provided a way for people to have a relationship with God and receive eternal life.
