What did Poseidon symbolly look like?

No-one really knows for sure but Poseidon is usually shown as a well-built man, often bearded and with dark curly hair. He is almost always pictured carrying a trident, which is sometimes seen as a symbol for Poseidon himself, and he generally wears a crown.
