Are there sharks in Lanzarote

There are many Gummy sharks around Minorca - a centre of abundance is Fornells bay on the North of the island. They don't have teeth and can only be seen by under 12 year olds. They are harmless but do enjoy sucking toes which are dangled from a Laser Stratos. Sizes vary from 1-2metres and their life expectancy can be upto 57 years.
