Your 1987 trailboss 2 stroke doesn't have any top end speed or power?

hey, i have a 1986 polaris trailboss and does the same thing. does it start studdering after half throttle? mine does, runs perfectly fine befor half throttle then as soon as u go past that, it starts studering and has no power. if you find anything, let me know, thnxs
