Most religions believe light is important, as it represents good and truth.

For example, Christians believe light is important because it represents the Light of God or the Light of Christ.

Hindus believe light is important because of the story that created the Festival of Light, including two people who ran away and followed the light to lead them back home again. The Festival of Lights is otherwise known as Diwali.
