Why do boys climb on girls and then start to tongue kiss them?

My boyfriend did that to me on January-9th-2011 it wasn't a shocker i knew he wanted to and I wanted to do it also and first he was kissing on my neck second he licked my lips and put his tongue in my mouth third he was tongue kissin me some more and he did that 5 times it felt good. :)
