For a male:
- long, unkempt hair (a shabby second hand wig perhaps)
- headband (strip of cloth with symbols)
- very shabby jeans (perhaps patched with peace symbol patches)
- sandals, no socks
- T-shirt with peace symbols or sayings (Flower Power, Don't Trust The Man, Question Everything, War is harmful to children and other living things, Make Love Not War, etc.)
- muslin shirt with embroidery on the sleeves, must have long sleeves
- several ropes of beads (natural materials only, no plastic)
For a female:
- longer, unkempt hair (a less shabby second hand wig)
- headband (strip of cloth with symbols or entwined ribbons with streamers hanging down the back)
- sandals, no socks
- flower print cotton dress or embroidered muslin dress, either above knee with no waist or ankle length with empire waist, must have long sleeves
- a couple of strings of beads and a chain and pendent with peace symbol
- flowers stuck in headband or a garland of flowers instead of headband
- minimum or no makeup
