Don't think about sad things, like sad songs, movies, tv shows, books, or moments that happened in your life. Think about happy things that make you feel good inside. Being happy is something everyone wants because sadness is like a dagger covered with pain that stabs you. You feel it and are hurt by it.....terribly.
Therefore, do things that keep you happy. Watch funny movies or tv shows, or read a book that makes you laugh, listen to music that cracks you up, hang out with your friends and be goofy all day. Do anything that you know will make you happy for sure. : )
