What job does a tractor have in a farm?

Tractors are all-purpose vehicles. What they do specifically depends on a number of things, including what type of farm they're used on. For example, a tractor on a sod farm may pull a scraper to collect scrap sod, it could have mower attachments to cut the grass on the sod, it could have an attachment which cuts, collects, and stacks the sod on pallets. On other types of farms, these functions would not be necessary.
