What is a typical home in Greece?

In Athens, most people live in an apartment with a balcony. Structures cannot be more than 2 stories high because of earthquake dangers. Marble is used expansively for floors and stairways. People in the countryside often live in very old simple homes with few rooms, or in houses built into the mountainside. Some homes are new and very up to date. Others are literally ancient, and have been around for many hundreds of years.
