Problems caused by over population

- Too many people competing for use of non-renewable resources (food, clean water, timber, fossil fuels)

- Not enough space to produce adequate food, housing and recreational space for everybody

- Animal species go extinct due to over-hunting, habitat loss or pollution

- Industry to manufacture all the things we demand creates pollution, which alters climate and makes our air less pleasant

- Peace and quiet are harder to come by!
