What does the medical abbreviation APAP mean?

APAP can indicate that acetaminophen is in a product. For example, a prescription bottle may read VICODIN...under that it will list the generic ingredients ie.... hydrocodone 5 mg/ APAP 325 mg. (otherwise known as Tylenol.)

APAP can also refer to Adaptive Positive Airway Pressure or Automatic Positive Airway Pressure, therapy for respiratory problems.
