It's pretty much the same as any other vehicle. Underneath the truck just behind the front axle is a large metal pan with a bolt in the bottom. This is the oil pan. Unscrew the bolt from the oil pan to let the oil drain. Replace the plug (bolt). The oil filter should be visible from the bottom of the vehicle, probably on the driver's side of the engine. Remove it and let the oil drain out of it. Wipe the aluminum area where the filter seats up with a clean rag, and make sure the old "o" ring isn't stuck to the flange. Next, put a little bit of the new oil into the new filter, making sure to lubricate the "o" ring on top of the filter. Do not fill it all the way up, you'll spill it when trying to screw it in. Attach the new filter to the motor. Be sure it is tight. Go to the top of the engine and add four quarts of oil. Put the cap back on, and start the engine. If the vehicle has an oil pressure gauge, wait until it jumps up to the mid-range. If it doesn't have the gauge, let the motor run about twenty seconds. Shut the engine off and check the oil. Fill as needed!
