Why did the KKK hate blacks and so many different religious groups?

They were a bigoted ignorant bunch of thugs who were supposed to be so called "christians" and thought that only white protestants were worthy people! thank goodness we now know enough to squash them like bugs when they raise their ugly little pointed heads!

They were bullies who lived in fear of losing control of their towns, churches, laws, courts, schools, the government, African Americans, and any other group that was different. They used murder and terror to maintain their control but they lost in the end.
