Where is the catalic converter?

The catalytic converter is typically located in the exhaust system of a vehicle, between the engine and the muffler. It is usually found underneath the car, mounted to the exhaust pipe. Its purpose is to convert harmful gases produced during combustion into less harmful emissions before they exit the vehicle's exhaust system.
