How long has AZ been around for?

Arizona became a U.S. state on February 14, 1912. However, the area has a rich history that dates back thousands of years, with Indigenous peoples inhabiting the region long before European exploration. Following Spanish exploration in the 16th century and subsequent Mexican rule, Arizona was acquired by the United States in 1848. Hence, as a state, Arizona has been around for over 111 years.
