How do you shut off the audible alarm when you lock the car or at least lower the volume of the alarm in a 2006 Passat?

If your alarm keeps sounding after the car is locked then there must be a fault. Try making sure all the vents are shut in the car and try it, other than that i rekon it should still be under warranty. Take it back to dealer. hope this helps
