What is the best spec for a paladin in pve?

This depends on what you want to do. If you want to heal, then go restoration, that is the healing tree. If you want to sit back and hurl lighting and fire, go elemental, which is the ranged damage tree. If you want to get in close and do physical damage, then go enhancement, that is the melee tree. Those are the three specs to a shaman.
