Why do you have to ask questions if you want to be Supervisor on WikiAnswers?

It shows that you are taking part in the community.

The main reason is that the Community Assistants (the ones who run WikiAnswers) want a well-rounded person as a Supervisor, and not just a Supervisor that Excels in answering questions but never asks (or doesn't know how to ask) questions.
