They will ask a few questions (date, plate, vin, your name)then they will advise of fees (inventory,storage)then they will give you directions to pick up your property.Always take cash and your i.d.They will only release property to the registered and or legal owner or owners.Be sure to call a.s.a.p. because most repo agencys charge storage by the day.If the owner is not available , you must take a notarized power of attorney,signed by the owner if possible.in probate matters a letter from the finance co. will do.you do not have to be redeeming your vehicle to retreive your personal property.BUT! you have only 30 days to get it then it becomes propertyof the repo man for storage costs.
