Why shouldn't school uniforms be banned?

Students should attend school for an education rather than to show off clothing, when attending school a student should be more concerned about their learning environment and not how they look. By wearing their own clothing students would not only have a feeling of comfort but also it might bring about a bit more confidence within them but this could bring about low self esteem in children who aren’t able to afford much causing them to maybe feel ashamed or discriminated by students who can afford the buying of the new trends and fashions which sometimes leads them to steal, with school uniforms in the picture there would be less competition on how one looks because weather your rich or poor everyone would be dressed the same and also it would be cheaper for parents who can’t afford to buy new clothing for their children at all times. Not abolishing school uniforms also gives more time on mornings when it comes to deciding upon what one should wear reason being is because it would be the same shirt, skirt and/or pants everyday, making them all feel in some cases proud to be a part of something. Some say that uniforms are boring, but they were made to be formal in order to represent the school positively, not only does it bring about a sense of belonging within the student

body but it also helps in identifying them where ever they are.
