What punishment were given to slaves who were rebellious?

Normally death. They were killed by the slave masters. If it wasn't death, they would be whipped maybe or other serious harmful punishments. If they spoke out, they may get their tongues cut off. Or fought back they may lose their hands. But most likely death.
